About
I got here through video games and speedrunning in particular, where you stop playing a game as intended and start asking what it’s doing underneath, which is the same curiosity that pulls me toward reverse engineering. The other half is explaining it: diagrams and visuals that turn a memory layout or a chain of pointers into something you can look at, because I feel like most people find these topics hard to follow when there is nothing to see.
Most of my projects are built together with my wonderful husband and partner. We work on whatever interests us at the time, which usually means finding bugs, reducing computer sadness, and making tools that make our digital lives easier. Sharks show up more often than strictly necessary. Have a nice time!

Cyber Security SpecialistOntario Power Generation
Implemented and managed the network security measures keeping OPG's Sir Adam Beck Generating Station compliant with NERC CIP standards, administered and automated the supporting network infrastructure, and ran governance, risk, and compliance assessments to limit regulatory risk across the renewable energy portfolio.
Project & Control EngineerOntario Power Generation
Acted as the Cyber Security Single Point of Contact for the Contract Management Office, setting program requirements and reviewing modifications involving CEAs, with additional support across nuclear operations, maintenance, and engineering. Sat on the monthly Cyber Security Interface Committee and presented to it in September 2023.
Fleet AnalystToronto Hydro
Led forecast reviews with senior management, surfacing risks to vehicle delivery deadlines and tracking against monthly KPIs, and managed RFx processes for competitive bids of $500K+ to source new vehicles, maintaining SAP timelines through to launch.
Secondary Distribution Services AnalystToronto Hydro
Scheduled a contractor team providing customers access to transformer vaults and ran the RFQ/RFP process for contractor resources and pricing, cutting contractor operating costs by 8% annually. Built a web-based system for pricing data that improved record accuracy and opened the information up to stakeholders across the organization.
Program Delivery StudentToronto Hydro
Managed maintenance operations for Toronto Hydro's electrical assets, dispatching contractors and assigning work orders against department budgets and resources. Implemented form automation that removed repetitive data entry from work request generation, saving the department hundreds of hours, then presented it to senior leadership and trained 20 people to roll it out elsewhere.

Organized and managed databases of 100+ clients in Microsoft Access and SQL Server, handled day-to-day technical troubleshooting for the office, and installed Linux along with the procedure documentation to go with it.
